Edna M. MarshallPublished Wednesday, February 26, 1997 in the Gurdon TimesEdna M. Marshall, 87, of Fair Oaks, Calif., died Sunday, February 16, 1997. She was a member of Cypress Avenue Baptist Church of Carmichael. She was a former member of Beech Street Baptist Church in Gurdon. Mrs. Marshall was a native of Redlands, Okla., and was a longtime resident of Gurdon. Survivors include two sons, John Marshall Jr. and E.J. Leavell; two daughters, June Garrett and Wanda M. Strother; 16 grandchildren; and 30 great grandchildren. Funeral services were Wednesday, February 19, at Lind Brothers Mortuary in Carmichael, Calif. A graveside service was held in Gurdon Friday, February 21, in Rose Hedge Cemetery with Bro. James Guthrie officiating. Local arrangements are by Horne Funeral Home of Gurdon.
