Westburg To Teach Rug HookingPublished Wednesday, February 26, 1997 in the Gurdon TimesPam Westburg will teach heirloom rug hooking skills by demonstrating on a small wall hanging, on April 23, at 9:30 a.m. The workshop is sponsored by the Clark County Extension Council and will be held at the EH Building on the fair grounds. A minimum of ten people must sign up for the workship to be held. A $20 kit must be ordered by February 28. It will contain hand dyed wool strips, rug hooking tool, burlap backing and a pattern. Participants should bring a small hoop. To join the workshop, bring a $20 check, made out to the Clark County EH, to the Cooperative Extension office at 5th and Clay in Arkadelphia by February 28.
