Tennis Group Meets

The Nevada County Women's Tennis Association held a kickoff play day Saturday, February 22, with a meeting and luncheon.

There were 16 women to play tennis round robin.

Officers were elected for 1997, including Melba Morman, president; Maria Morrow, vice president; Janet McAdams, secretary treasurer; and Gale Redden, award chairman.

Anyone interested in signing up for the spring league may do so by calling Maria Morrow at 887-3495 or Joyce Martin at 887-5182.

There are several levels of play from "C group" (beginners), "B group" (intermediate), to "A group" (advance) players, a place for everyone.
