Cecil R. KirbyPublished Wednesday, March 5, 1997 in the Nevada County PicayuneCecil R. Kirby, 34, of Rosston, formerly of Middlesex, N.C., died Sunday, February 16, 1997, in St. Michael Medical Center in Texarkana. Survivors include his wife, Teresa Kirby of Rosston, one son, Isaiah T. Kirby of Rosston; two daughters, Dacia S. Kirby of Smithfield, N.C., and Ashley F. Dixon of Rosston; his parents, Cecil and Helen Kirby of Knightdale, N.C., and Ruby Kirby of Middlesex; two brothers, Keith Kirby of Wendell, N.C., and Kirby D. Kirby of Knightdale; and several uncles and aunts. Services were held Friday, February 21, at Harrison Chapel Baptist Church in Rosston with the Rev. Bobby Box officiating. Services and burial were held at Middlesex, N.C., with burial in O'Neal Cemetery in Middlesex under the direction of Henderson's Funeral Service of Magnolia and William Toney Funeral Home in Spring Hope, N.C. Pallbearers were Willie Drake, Jerry Paden, Allen Yarbrough, Phillip McKinney, Ronald Martin and Samuel Quales.
