AllCare Merger Told

Allcare Long Term Care Pharmacy and NCS HealthCare, Inc. have officially become one.

Allcare, located in Arkadelphia, is a provider of institutional pharmacy and ancillary services to more than 4,700 long-term care residents in five sites in Arkansas.

Kevin Shaw, president of NCS, said, "The purchase of Allcare makes NCS a significant provider of pharmacy services in Arkansas. We are delighted both owners, W. Percy Malone, president and chief executive officer of Allcare, and Fred Harris, Allcare vice president, and their superb management team, will continue in their current roles to further grow their significant base of business."

Ownership of all Nevada County Picayune content from the beginning of the newspaper, including predecessors, until May 2001 was contributed by the John and Betty Ragsdale family to the Prescott Community Freenet Association.
