Jewell Mae SmithPublished Wednesday, March 5, 1997 in the Gurdon TimesJewell Mae Smith, 75, of Gurdon died Saturday, March 1, 1997. She was a member of First Pentecostal Church of God. She was the daughter of Benjamin and Nettie (Ellis) Smith. Survivors include three sisters, Tular Karr of Gurdon, Farrie Bell of Katy, Texas, and Inez Lee of Russellville; and a brother, Charles E. Smith of Woodward, Okla. Graveside services were Tuesday, March 4, at Bethel Springs Cemetery near Gurdon with Bro. Harold Jones officiating. Arrangements were by Horne Funeral Home of Gurdon.
