Tornado sirens in Gurdon will be tested at noon every Wednesday, weather permitting.

Little League baseball 11- and 12-year-old All-Stars need to turn in their uniforms, socks and belts to Tambra Smith at Gurdon City Hall. You may pick up your birth certificates at that time.

At Terry Mann's Service Station this Saturday, August 7, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., you can purchase your ad for the 1999 Go-Devil football program. You may pick out your design.

Prices, including pictures, graphics and wording, are full page: $100; half page: $50; ,- page: $35; and -page: $25 (no picture).

Arkansas Rehabilitation Services will be in Gurdon on August 19 at the Gurdon Municipal building from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. New applicants are welcome. Call 353-2514 for an appointment or more information.

Gurdon Masonic Lodge 187 meets the first and third Tuesday of each month. All members are urged to attend.

Alcoholics Anonymous meets on Wednesdays and Sundays at 8:00 p.m. at the American Legion building, Highway 67 North, one mile out of Gurdon.
