Daniel MartinPublished Wednesday, March 12, 1997 in the Nevada County PicayuneDaniel Martin, 62, of Portland, Ore., formerly of Hope and Willisville, died Sunday, March 2, 1997, in Portland. Born September 5, 1935, in Willisville, he was the son of the late Thomas and Estelle Martin. Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Nelson of Hope; three brothers, Hershel Martin of Hope, Johnnie Martin of Youngstown, Ohio, and Emoree Martin of Columbia, S.C.; two sisters, Leona Martin Bailey of Portland, Ore., and Emaline Martin McFadden of Wichita, Kans. Services were held Saturday, March 8, at Washington Temple Church of God in Christ with Pastor Burlon Washington and superintendent, Hershel Martin officiating.
