Louise BrantleyPublished Wednesday, March 12, 1997 in the Nevada County PicayuneLouise Brantley, 81, of Prescott died Tuesday, March 4, 1997, at Heather Manor North Nursing Home in Hope. Born June 12, 1915, in Bath, N.C., she was a housewife and mother. She was a member of the Church of God in Greenville, N.C., but attended Midway United Methodist Church in Prescott. Survivors include two sons, Douglas Brantley of Prescott and Donald Brantley of Winfield, La.; one daughter, Christine Gilpatrick of Cantonment, Fla.; two brothers, Thomas Waters of Greenville, N.C. and Lee Waters of Winterville, N.C.; and four grandchildren. Services were held Thursday, March 6, at Brazzel-Oakcrest Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Westmoreland officiating. Burial was held Sunday, March 9, in Pinewood Memorial Park Cemetery in Greenville, N.C. Arrangements were under the direction of Brazzel-Oakcrest Chapel Funeral Home of Hope.
