Humphrey Bogart, Katharine Hepburn, Cary Grant, Greta Garbo, John Wayne, Bette Davis, Jimmy Stewart, Elizabeth Taylor and the rest of Hollywood's greatest stars and motion pictures, are coming to Prescott in April when Prescott Video adds Turner Classic Movies to its line-up.

TCM will be seen locally on channel 99 on most televisions.

Called "The Best Cable Channel In The Known Universe" (Tom Shales, The Washington Post , December 24, 1995), TCM is Movie Heaven , presenting the greatest movies of all time, uninterrupted and commercial free, according to a news release.

TCM showcases over 350 movies every month, with fewer repeats than any other channel, according to the release, and is home to the finest collection of short subjects ever assembled -- thousands of shorts, classic movie trailers and rarely-seen screen tests and out-takes.

TCM is hosted by veteran Hollywood journalist, movie expert and commentator Robert Osborne, who anchors the network and takes viewers behind the scenes for inside information on the movies, the stars and the world of Hollywood.

"We're excited to offer TCM to our subscribers," Jim Dickerson, general manager, Prescott Video, said. "With its combination of 24-hour, commercial-free and uninterrupted classics, TCM provides quality entertainment for the entire family. We know our subscribers will enjoy TCM tremendously."
