Wild Outdoor Women's Workshop Set At DeGrayPublished Wednesday, March 19, 1997 in the Gurdon TimesDeGray Lake Resort State Park will be host its second Wild Outdoor Women's workshop May 2, 3 and 4. This workshop is aimed at women and is an opportunity for anyone 18 years or older to learn outdoor skills usually associated with hunting and fishing, but useful for many outdoors pursuits. Sessions being offered include games care and handling, outdoor cooking, outdoor first aid, backyard wildlife, fishing skills, orienteering, birdwatching, archery, camping skills, canoeing, and others. Enrollment is limited to 100 participants. Early registration before April 20 is encouraged. Workshop fee is $160 before April 20; $185 after April 20.
