Military NewsPublished Wednesday, March 19, 1997 in the Gurdon TimesArmy Staff Sgt. David E. Rodgers has been decorated with the Army Achievement Medal. The medal is awarded to soldiers for meritorious service, acts of courage, or other outstanding accomplishments. Rodgers is a military police squad leader with the 191st Ordnance Battalion in Miesau, Germany. He is the son of Richard E. and Patricia O. Rodgers of 900 Meredith, Pine Bluff.
