Team Studies PredatorsPublished Wednesday, March 26, 1997 in the Gurdon TimesClark County 4-H Wildlife Habitat Team members attended a predator survey at DeGray Lake. They were able to assist the project biologist Johnny Cantrell. Team members assisted in collecting field data from 20 scent stations along two predator survey routes. Wildlife Habitat Team members attending this survey were John David Coston, Cameron Coston, Jason Beene and Trey Burchfield. Some of the prints that were identified were gray fox, deer and coyote, as well as others. The team will go on to participate in a statewide competition identifying wildlife habitat.
