Dr. Teague Chosen As President

Dr. Audie M. Teague of Prescott was elected president of the Southwest Council of Optometry at its annual congress in Dallas, Texas, March 14, 15 and 16.

Approximately 1,500 attendees from across the nation met at the Grand Kempinski Hotel for the three-day optometric education congress.

The Southwest Council of Optometry is a six-state regional affiliate of the American Optometric Association. It is comprised of the optometric associations of Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Colorado, Arkansas and Louisiana.

Dr. Teague served on the board of trustees of the Southwest Council of Optometry for five years and as vice president in 1996.

He has been in private practice in Prescott since 1983.
