Easter Egg Hunt Is Planned

Published Wednesday, March 26, 1997 in the Nevada County Picayune

The Easter Bunny will make his annual appearance in Prescott Saturday, March 29 during the Easter Egg Hunt at the Nevada County Courthouse.

The hunt starts at 10:30 a.m., and is open to children ages 1-10. Those 1-2 years old will have their hunt starting at 10:30, while the three- and four-year-olds will begin searching for the brightly colored eggs at 11 a.m.

At noon, the hunt is scheduled for those aged 5-7, with the 8-10 crew set to begin looking at 1 p.m.

A golden egg will be hidden in each category, with the finder receiving a stuffed Easter Bunny.

The Easter Bunny will pay a visit to the Easter Egg hunters before they start on their quest.

Additionally, there will be plenty of other eggs hidden, with goodies inside, all compliments of the Prescott-Nevada County Chamber of Commerce, along with the retail merchants and businesses.

There is no charge for the hunt, and all children are urged to bring an Easter basket. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

A concession stand will be available, with other groups on hand to keep the children entertained.

For more information, call the Chamber at 887-2101.
