Emmet School Kindergarten Registration Set For April 10-11

Emmet School kindergarten registration for the 1996-97 school year will be held Thursday, April 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Friday, April 11, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Emmet School office.

Parents registering a student should bring their child's birth certificate, immunization record and social security number. A child must be five years of age on or before October 1.

In addition, the parents must present a proof of physical examination which may be by a licensed physican or a registered nurse qualifed to conduct screening examinations. The comperehinsive preshool examination for enrolling kindergarten students will be administered by the Nevada County Health Office and an appoinment may be made by calling 887-2004.

Parents who are unable to come to the school on Thursday, April 10, or Friday, April 11, should call the school at 887-2319.
