Fish Are Stocked In River

In early March the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission stocked white crappie and channel catfish into Little Missouri River near Whelen Springs and Delight.

There were 385 fourteen-inch channel catfish and 10,000 two-inch crappie were put in the river at Barringer Access, and 10,000 two-inch crappie were put in the river south of Delight at Highway 195 bridge.

The fish were produced and stocked by the Andrew Hulsey Fish Hatchery near Hot Springs.
