Geraldine Honea

Geraldine Honea, 81, of Texarkana, Ark., died Saturday, April 5, 1997, at Arkansas Nursing and Rehab Center in Texarkana.

Born August 19, 1915, in McCaskill, she was the daughter of Gaylon and Delila Warren Lively, a homemaker and retired fuod dietician. She was a member of Bible Missionary Church in Texarkana. Mrs. Honea was the widow of Horace Honea, who died November 11, 1986.

Survivors include one son, Leroy Honea of Texarkana; three daughters, Betty Bible of Kempner, Texas, Bonnie Breshears of Atlanta, Texas, and Ruth Bates of Queeen City, Texas; two sisters, Gertrude Hicks of McCaskill and Irma Blackman of Witchita Falls, Texas; 12 grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

Services were held Monday, April 7, at Bells Chapel Church of the Nazarene near Blevins with Rev. Lewis Smith and Rev. Wayne Bell officiating. Burial was in Marlbrook Cemetery near Blevins under the direction of Brazzel-Oakcrest Chapel Funeral Home of Hope.
