Elder Barnam B. Wright

Elder Barnam B. Wright, 76, of Hope died Friday, April 4, 1997, in Columbia Medical Park Hospital in Hope.

Born December 21, 1920, in Bodcaw, he was the son of William Ward and Bessie O. Mouser Wright. He was a Baptist minister for over 50 years, a member of Liberty Baptist Church and an army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Wright of Hope; one son, Jerry Keith Wright of Hope; two daughters, Karan Head and Sandra Head, both of Hope; four brothers, Elder Dee B. Wright of Galena Park, Texas, Elrey Wright of Garland, Texas, Elder Bobby Joe Wright of Texarkana, Ark., and Elder J.W. Wright of Denham Springs, La.; two sisters, Lorene Browning of Hope and Irene Kymes of San Antonio, Texas; seven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Services were held Monday, April 7, at Brazzel-Oakcrest Chapel Funeral Home in Hope with Bro. Raymond Hicks, Bro. Mike Crane and Bro. Eddie Holliday officiating. Burial was in Huckabee Cemetery in Hope under the direction of Brazzel-Oakcrest Chapel Funeral Home of Hope.
