Cora Norton-HunterPublished Wednesday, April 9, 1997 in the Nevada County PicayuneCora Norton-Hunter, 78, of San Antonio, Texas, formerly of Bodcaw, died Monday, March 31, 1997, at Morning Side Manor Nursing Home in San Antonio. Born February 18, 1919, at Rosston, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Myrtha Bustin. She was preceded in death by one son, William Aaron Norton. Survivors include one son, Ossie Norton of Lake Charles, La.; three daughters, Peggy Thigpen of Lake Charles, La., Judy Vallery of San Antonio, and Lynn Norton of Lake Charles, La.; three sisters, Alice Carlton of Midland, Texas; Glen Benefield of Haynesville, La., and Clovis Almond of Hope; one brother, Dean Bustin of Destrehan, La.; 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. Services were held Thursday, April 3, in the Smith Funeral Home chapel in Stamps with Bro. Wayne Langston officiating.
