Council Meets To Fix ErrorBY JOHN MILLERPublished Wednesday, April 9, 1997 in the Gurdon Times A typographical error required the Gurdon City Council to hold a special meeting Thursday, April 3. Ordinance 403, concerning the Rural Water Project, showed a difference in the loan payment amounts. Under the original ordinance, the payment amount was shown to be $3,843 per month. However, upon review, it was found the actual payments will be $3,483, a difference of about $400 monthly. The loan for the water project was also closed Tuesday morning at City Hall.
