Lowry Graham Kinzer

Lowry Graham Kinzer, 55, passed away March 3, 1997, in Dallas, Texas.

He was born June 12, 1941, in Bedford, Va. He graduated from the University of New Mexico with a BBA in business and from the University of Texas at Dallas with a BA degree. Mr. Kinzer spent three years in the U.S. Marine Corps, serving one tour in Vietnam. He was discharged from active duty as a Captain in 1969. In November 1972, he joined the Dallas Fire Department, where he served for 24 years up to the time of his death.

Survivors include his wife, Loretta Kinzer of Dallas; his mother, Evelyn Graham Kinzer of Bedford; a twin sister, Mary Alice Thomas of Forest, Va.; a son, Greg Kinzer of Dallas; and numerous friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Lowry Kinzer of Bedford.

Funeral services were Friday, March 7, at Sparkman-Hillcrest Northwest Highway Chapel with Chaplain Denny Burris officiating.

Interment was in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to: Fire Department Relief Fund, 5000 Dolphin Rd., Dallas, TX 75223.
