Billie Cagle TaylorPublished Wednesday, April 16, 1997 in the Gurdon TimesBillie Cagle Taylor, 79, of Nashville, formerly of Gurdon, died Friday, April 11, 1997. Mrs. Taylor was an employee of the Gurdon School District. She was a member of South Fork Baptist Church. Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by two children, Nelda Jane Taylor and John Cagle Taylor. She is survived by her husband, J.W. Taylor of Nashville; a daughter and son-in-law, Ann and David Blase of Nashville; a son and daughter-in- law, David and Priscilla Taylor of Canadian, Texas; a sister, Ina Wingfield of Fresno, Calif.; a brother, Ross Cagle of Hooks, Texas; five grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Services were Sunday, April 13, at South Fork Baptist Church with Dr. David Blase and Revs. John Blase and Shawn Blase officiating. Burial was in South Fork Cemetery by Horne Funeral Home of Gurdon.
