McHenry BrewerPublished Wednesday, April 16, 1997 in the Nevada County PicayuneMcHenry Brewer, 83, of Gurdon died Wednesday, April 9, 1997, in Little Rock. He was born July 21, 1913, in Malvern. He was a retired metal worker with Reynolds Aluminum. Mr. Brewer was a longtime member of the Church of God. Survivors include his wife, Willie Mae Brewer of Gurdon, two sons, Herman Brewer of Sacremento, Calif., and Sylvester Joe Brewer of Prescott; three daughters, Vera Malone of Indianapolis, Ind., Mary Brewer of Little Rock and Maxine Duncan of Gurdon; 14 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. Services for Mr. Brewer were held Friday, April 18, at the Church of God in Gurdon with Rev. Raymond Clayborn officiating.
