60-Year AnniversaryPublished Wednesday, August 11, 1999 in the Nevada County PicayuneThe children of Billy Bob and Elva McCraven Smith invite friends and family to join in a celebration honoring sixty years of marriage of their parents in the Prescott Church of Christ fellowship hall Saturday, August 14, from 2 to 4 p.m Mr. Smith is the oldest of five children of the late Dewey and Ida Billingsley Smith. He was born in Nevada County. Mrs. Smith, the daughter of the late James H. and Cordelia Gray McCraven, was born in Kingston, Okla. She moved with her family to Prescott in 1936. Justice of the Peace Jim Bryson married them on August 19, 1939. Mr. and Mrs. Smith have lived in the Hickory Grove community for 59 years. From this union were born five children: Bobbie Blevins of Prescott, Michael Smith of Little Rock, Donna Graham of Little Rock; Cheryl McDonald (deceased) and Jan Rhodes of Spring Hill.
