The Cooperative Extension Service, University of Arkansas has a horticulture hotline with information on over 180 topics ranging from azaleas to zoysia. "It's a great way for people to get information about the most commonly asked garden questions 24 hours a day, seven days a week," says Pulaski County Extension Agent Beth Phelps. Each answer runs two to three minutes. "If they need more in-depth information, they can access their county Extension office during working hours," Phelps said. The hotline number is 501-340-6660.
