Top Employees Named

Michael Downing has been chosen employee of the month of April at Nevada County Recycling and Workcenter.

Ricky Scott was March's employee of the month at Nevada County Recycle and Workcenter.

Scott is a 36-year-old Prescott native and longtime consumer of the Nevada County Day Service Center.

"To say Ricky is cooperative would be an understatement," according to a news release from the center. "He is always eager to do any job that arises, often taking the initiative to proceed without having to be asked. If there's work to be done, Ricky is there.

"Not only is he a hard worker, he's a true gentleman, who's always willing to hold the door for a lady," according to a spokesman. "Everyone at the Recycle and Workcenter knows that Ricky is one of a kind. Congratulations, Ricky."

Downing is a 33-year-old native of Nevada County.

"He is always a gentleman," the spokesman said. "He is very helpful, wherever he is needed.

"He's a cooperative worker in the recycling task with cardboards and newspapers. The staff at the center is very proud of all the students at the recycling workcenter. Everyone encourages Michael to keep up the good work."
