Association GathersPublished Wednesday, April 23, 1997 in the Gurdon TimesThe Center Ridge Cemetery Association met Saturday, April 19. The group decided that all faded and old flowers will be removed. No plants, trees, shrubs or flowers are to be planted in the cemetery. In addition, families are ask to remove those that are there. If the families cannot, then the association will remove them. This is so the grass can be mowed and the grave stones can be trimmed around. All flowers will have to be placed on tombstone or vases on the stone during mowing season, according to the association. No structures, such as cement walls, bricks or fences will be permitted around graves. No rocks, gravel or chat will be allowed. All plot markers need to permanent and are to be ground level.
