George Stauber

George Stauber, 75, of Okolona, died April 13, 1997.

Mr. Stauber was born November 28, 1921, in Lonoke. He was retired from Reynolds Metal Company. He was a member of the 32nd Bombardier Squadron Army Air Force and he was a Baptist.

Survivors include three daughters, Evelyn Stauber and Jo Anne Green of Little Rock and Rose Brewer of Okolona; one son, George Stauber, Jr. of Little Rock; a brother, Pat Stauber of Searcy; a sister, Minnie Finch of Lonoke; nine grandchildren, Mike Calvert, Kevin Holder, Richard Brewer, Robyn Brewer, Bryan Green, Rachiel Dumas, Christopher Stauber, Robert Stauber and Elisabeth Stauber.

Funeral services were Tuesday, April 15, at Boyd Funeral Home Chapel in Lonoke. Burial was in Lonoke Cemetery by Boyd Funeral Home of Lonoke.

Pallbearers were Kevin Holder, Paul Grier, Gary Smith, Raymond Allen and Ritchie Brewer. Honorary pallbearers were 32nd Squadron, Dan Spradlin, Jack Ursery, Chip Cox, Mike Calloway, John Martin and Jim Farrington.
