Josie V. Kuhn

Josie V. Kuhn, 85, of Florence, Ore., passed away April 18, 1997.

Mrs. Kuhn was born June 2, 1911, in Gurdon. She had lived in the Florence area for many years. She was an active member of Siuslaw Valley Christian Center.

Survivors include her children, Jimmie G. Kuhn of Daleville, Ala., Bernie J. Kuhn of Halsey, Ore., Otis Dean Kuhn of Portland, Ore., and Terry Max Kuhn of Florence; one brother, Roy Brown of Little Rock; two sisters, Reeda Evington of Gurdon and Edna Jennings of Texas; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two children, Gina Northrop and Bobby Kuhn, two brothers, Johnny Brown and J.B. Brown and one sister, Effie Brown Coon.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 22, through Burns's Riverside Chapel Florence Funeral Home. Contriubtions may be made to a memorial fund set up in her name through Siuslaw Valley Christian Center.
