Ora Wylie TownsendPublished Wednesday, April 30, 1997 in the Nevada County PicayuneOra Wylie Townsend, 93, of Tyler, Texas, formerly of Emmet, died Tuesday, April 22, 1997, at Clarmont Nursing Home in Tyler. Born April 10, 1904, in Emmet, she was a homemaker, a member of First United Methodist Church in Emmet and the widow of Otis Townsend. Survivors include one daughter, Ruth Ann Porter of Tyler; and two grandchildren. Services were held Thursday, April 24, at Brazzel-Cornish Funeral Home chapel with Rev. J.R. Callicott officiating.
