Pageant Is Planned

The 19th annual Miss Tri-State Teen Scholarship Pageant will be held Saturday, July 12, in Harton Auditorium on the campus of Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia.

Contestants must be in grades nine through 12 during next school year. 1997 graduatres are also eligible to enter.

Competition will include interview, talent, beauty and evening gown.

The winner will receive a scholarship to Southern Arkansas University upon high school graduation.

Private interviews and talent rehearsal will begin at 10:00 a.m. and conclude at 1:00 p.m. All phases of competition will begin at 6:30 and the public is invited to attend.
