McLelland Honored

The United States Achievement Academy has announced that Brandon McLelland of Prescott has been named an All-American Collegiat Scholar.

McLelland, who attends Southern Arkansas Unviersity, was nominated for this national award by Dr. James Tollett.

McLelland will appear in the All-American Collegiate Yearbook, which is published nationally.

"Recognizing and supporting our youth is more important than ever before in America's history. Certainly, winners of the All-American Collegiate awards should be congratulated and appreciated for their dedication to excellence and achievement." Dr. George Stevens, executive director of USAA, said.

McLelland is the son of Thomas and Peggy McLelland of Presott. His grandparents are Floyd and Nina Price of Prescott and Thomas and Wanda McLelland of Texarkana.
