Three Prescott Teams Attend Quiz Bowl Bout

Three teams from Prescott Schools attended a quiz bowl tournament in Murfreesboro recently.

This was a first experience for the third and fourth grade team members. They did very good, coming in third out of eight teams.

Team members were Jorge Delgado, Trent Cox, Trevor Hunt, Ben Hale, Kim Crowder and Aaron Bullock. They were recognized as the quarterly awards assembly and presented a certificate of participation by their sponsoring teacher, Sheila Jennings.

The fifth and sixth grade team placed first in their divison and won a plaque to add to their trophy case at Prescott Middle School.

Team members were Megan Taylor, Aaron Jennings, Jonathan Wish, Chris Glass and Rick Gober. The sponsors were Sheila Jennings and Philip Holthoff. The bus driver was Karen Jobe. There were several parents who came along as chaparones. All these were truly appreciated by the sponors.
