Cecil CampbellPublished Wednesday, May 14, 1997 in the Nevada County PicayuneCecil Campbell, 55, of Lewisville, died Thursday, May 8, 1997, in the VA Hospital in Shreveport, La. Born January 8, 1942, in Lewisville, he was an army veteran of the Cuban Missile Crisis, a truck driver and a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Beverly Ridling Campbell of Lewisville; two daughters, Debra Miller of Italy and Kristi O'Dell of Lewisville; two sons, Kelly Campbell of Lewisville and Jimmy Hicks of Camden; his mother, Vadie Graley of Lewisville; one brother, Elmer Campbell of Lewisville; and five grandchildren. Services were held Monday, May 12, at Piney Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Victor Gore and Rev. Arlis East officiating.
