Leatha Alta BaileyPublished Wednesday, May 14, 1997 in the Nevada County PicayuneLeatha Alta Bailey, 88, of Rosston died Wednesday, May 7, 1997, at Columbia Medical Park Hospital in Hope. Born February 6, 1909, in Rosston, she was a homemaker. Mrs. Askew was the widow of Paul L. Bailey. She was a member of Rosston Baptist Church and the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by one son, Roger Lee Bailey. Survivors include one son, Paul Bailey Jr., of Willisville; one daughter, Loretta Chisholm of Crossett; one sister, Noma Walters of Dallas, Texas; six grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. Graveside services and burial were held Saturday, May 10, at Rosston Cemetery in Rosston under the direction of Brazzel-Cornish Funeral Home of Prescott.
