Department Offers Childcare Assistance To Single Parents

Southwest Arkansas Development Council SWADC single parent/displaced homemakers program is now accepting applications for childcare assistance only for the summer semester of 1997 for those who qualify.

Applications will be taken at the Southwest Arkansas Development Council office located at 110 South Main, Hope, between the hours of 8:00-4:00 p.m. Mondy through Friday.

In order to qualify for assistance you must attend or have already attended one of the workshops and you must also qualify financially.

When filling out an application for assistance these things will be required: proof of registration, proof of income, and daycare must be a licensed daycare facility.

For more information you may contact the SWADC office Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
