Marion Ethel ShackelfordPublished Wednesday, August 11, 1999 in the Nevada County PicayuneMarion Ethel Shackelford, 86, of Blevins died Tuesday, August 3, 1999, in Hot Springs. Mrs. Shackelford was born April 6, 1913, to Marion T. Ward and Maggie Richardson Ward in Prescott. She was a homemaker and a member of Bells Chapel Nazarene Church near Blevins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Samuel Shackelford, who died in 1980. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Geraldine Shackelford of German Town, Tenn., and Glen and Betty Shackelford of Springdale; one sister, Marie Jones of Little Rock; four grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services were Friday, August 6, at Bells Chapel Church in Blevins with Pastor Wesley Patrick officiating.
