Awards Given At EHS

The fourth annual awards banquet was held Tuesday, May 6, at 7:00 p.m. in the Emmet School cafetorium.

Frank Henson, high school principal, is the sponsor of this event, which began with a delicious meal, followed by the welcome and prayer by Dr. Gene Ross, superintendent. Henson was the speaker.

Award Student Certificates were presented by Jack Faulkner, president of the Emmet School board, and Dr. Ross to the following:

GCE employers certificates were presented by Henson to Fred's Discount Store, Sonic Drive-In of Prescott, and G&C Materials of Emmet.

Door prizes were presented by Henson to: Zach Hoover, a calculator; Bonnie White, $10; and Katie Tuberville, $75 savings bond.
