Linnie Viola NolenPublished Wednesday, May 28, 1997 in the Nevada County PicayuneLinnie Viola Nolen, 85, of Delight died Saturday, May 24, 1997, at Howard County Memorial Hospital in Nashville. Born March 3, 1912, she was a housewife and mother and a member of Pisgah Church of Christ. She was the widow of Lawrence Randle Nolen. Survivors include Lawrence Junior Nolen of Delight; three daughters, Lolaphyrn Wilson, Maxine Watts and Sue Gaines all of Delight; three sisters, Trudy Harrison of Benton and Faye Hodge and Cleo Hood, both of Hope; 14 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. Services were held Sunday, May 25, at Delight Church of Christ with Wallace Alexander and Roger Cox officiating.
