Duplex Units Finished; Open House ScheduledBY RICKY RAGSDALEPublished Wednesday, May 28, 1997 in the Nevada County Picayune Six new rental duplexes have been completed in Prescott and applications are being accepted for those interested in leasing the two- and three-bedroom units. Eight of the 12 units consist of two-bedroom apartments with the four others being three-bedroom. They range in size from 850 to 1,000 square feet. Community Development Group, L.C. of Little Rock, owns the structures and started the project more than a year ago. Prescott School District officials were originaly contacted about two years ago about selling some property near the Prescott Middle School for possible construction sites. The complexes are in the Walter Acres Subdivision, just off Wildcat Road in Prescott. They were built locally by Martin Builders. Anyone interested in leasing should contact the Prescott Public Housing Authority office for information. An open house is planned for Saturday, May 31 at a unit on Hatley Street.
