Alvin `Roy' Terrell

Alvin Elroy `Roy' Terrell, 65, of Emmet died Sunday, June 1, 1997, at his home in Emmet.

Born October 14, 1931, in Gonzales County, Texas, he was the son of Bradford Alvin and Nora Harbuck Terrell. He was a retired heavy equipment operator and a Baptist. He was preceded in death by two sons, Tony Terrell and Wesley Cole Terrell, and one brother, Norman Terrell.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Terrell of Emmet; three sons, William `Bill' Terrell of Rosston, Enoch Wayne Terrell of Emmet and Mitchell Anderson of Prescott; three daughters, Judy Marie Almond of Camden; and Dana Karen Mills and Rhonda Adams of Prescott; one brother, Lloyd Allen Terrell of Flatonia, Texas; one sister, Lorene Krejci of Flatonia, Texas; and six grandchildren.

Services are being held today, Wednesday, June 4, at 10:00 a.m. at Brazzel-Oakcrest Chapel Funeral Home in Hope. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 5, in Jeddo Cemetery in Waelder (Jeddo), Texas under the direction of Brazzel-Oakcrest Chapel Funeral Home of Hope.
