Nancy WorthingtonPublished Wednesday, June 4, 1997 in the Nevada County PicayuneNancy Carolyn Gist Worthington, 75, of Prescott, died Friday, May 30, 1997, in Little Rock. Born December 17, 1921, in Ozan, she was a retired manager for Sears and Roebuck. She was a Methodist. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.T. Worthington, and her mother, Bess Gist. Survivors include two sons, Jim Worthington of Shelbyville, Texas, and Gerry Worthington of Nashville; one sister, Frances Hester of Blanchard, La.; five grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Services were held Monday, June 2, at First United Methodist Church in Prescott with Rev. Dale Diffee officiating.
