Floyd `Bubba' ScottPublished Wednesday, June 4, 1997 in the Nevada County PicayuneFloyd `Bubba' Scott, 47, of Prescott died Monday, May 26, 1997. Born December 8, 1949, in Prescott, he was a farmer and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Prescott. Survivors include one daughter, Michelle Scott of Gurdon; two brothers, Thomas Langston of Chicago, Ill. and Richard Scott of Prescott; three sisters, Mary E. Murphy and Ozella Hopper of Prescott and Margarett McDonald of Chicago, Ill.; and his father, Dan Scott of Prescott. Services were held Saturday, May 31, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Prescott with Rev. Joe Battle officiating. Burial was in DeAnn Cemetery in Prescott under the direction of Hicks Funeral Home of Hope.
