Darrell Dean May

Darrell Dean May, 78, of Texarkana, Texas, formerly of Prescott, died Wednesday, May 28, 1997, at Wadley Regional Hospital in Texarkana.

Born January 3, 1919, in Bodcaw, he was a retired truck driver, a World War II veteran and a member of Beverly Baptist Church in Texarkana, Texas.

Survivors include his wife, Ruby Ingram May of Texarkana; one son, Jerry Dean May of Prescott; one daughter, Susan Terrell of New Boston, Texas; one brother, J.D. May of Eastland, Texas; one sister, Hazel Dorman of Bodcaw; two granddaughters; and three great grandchildren.

Graveside services and burial were held Friday, May 30, at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Prescott with Rev. Jerry Westmoreland and Elder Curtis Terrell officiating and under the direction of Brazzel-Cornish Funeral Home of Prescott.
