I send happy anniversary wishes for J.D. and Marie Allen. It will be 60 years on the 12th. Many more.

Willie, Julie and Leslie Clements made a trip to Branson this weekend. They had a great time.

David and Peggy Butler of Blevins; Chris, Jennifer and McKenzie Walton; Todd Butler and I had lunch with Dexter and Earlene Butler on Sunday.

It was good to have Alta Mullins back after a few weeks absence. She is in pretty good health for 90 plus years. She doesn't miss church very much.

My brother, Herman McKelvy, visited me one morning during the week.

On Saturday, August 7, at 2 p.m. Jonathan Russell, formerly of Bodcaw, and Mandy Sumrall were united in a beautiful candle light ceremony at First Baptist Church in Bay Springs, Miss. Those attending from Bodcaw were his parents, Billy and Peggy Russell, his brother, and family, Jeff, Sandy Russell, Matt and Kaillin, his grandmother, Maxine Brown, and great Aunt Mary Joe Gregory. Attending from Stamps were his sister and family, Carol, Kenny, Reed and Kaci Camp. Also attending were his Aunt and Uncle Ricky and Nancy Burke of Prescott; Steve and Becky Dianis of Magnolia and Jacky and Sally Russell of Searcy; Dee Goodwin of Hope; Cindy Ward of Rosston; and Bobby and Pauline Ketchum of Magnolia.

I talked to Fredrica Silvey Johns of Germany. She was at Calico Rock visiting her mom, Bobby Silvey. Birthday greetings to Bobby fell on the 11th. Fredrica is not making it to South Arkansas this time.
