Apparently an accused forger didn't learn anything after being arrested earlier this year.

According to Jim Westmoreland, criminal investigator for the Nevada County Sheriff's Office and Prescott Police Department, Julie Ann Crow, 36, of Prescott, was arrested Wednesday, May 28, on charges of second degree forgery.

Crow allegedly forged a check and attempted to pass it at the Exit 44 Truck Stop.

At the time, however, she was out on bond for the same crime -- second degree forgery.

Westmoreland said she is being held in the Nevada County Jail and faces revocation of her previous bond.

BREAK IN

The vocational-agriculture building at Prescott High School was broken into sometime during the weekend.

Westmoreland said some computer equipment, along with other items, was taken.

The break in, he said, occurred sometime between Friday evening and Monday morning.

He asks anyone with any information about this case, or anyone trying to sell or pawn computer equipment to call the PPD at 887-2676. Also, he said, if anyone is in possession of computer equipment with no explanation, call the PPD.
