BURGLARYPublished Wednesday, August 11, 1999 in the Nevada County PicayuneA residential burglary was reported Saturday, Aug. 7, by Rebecca Daniel. She told deputies a house off Highway 299 had been burglarized. Entry was gained initially by the suspect(s) cutting a screen off a back door and breaking the pane from another door to get into the house. Once inside, the suspect(s) took a 19-inch television, a brown leather chair, a two-shelf wooden table, an oriental coffee table and a basket. The suspect(s) also broke into an out building, taking a fishing pole and barbecue grill. The total value of the stolen items was about $1,500.
