Arlis Gilbert NiemeyerPublished Wednesday, June 11, 1997 in the Nevada County PicayuneArlis Gilbert Niemeyer, 66, of Cave City, formerly of Prescott, died Thursday, June 5, 1997, at his home. Born November 28, 1930, in Prescott, he was the son of the late Fred and Bonnie Crow Niemeyer of Prescott, a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, a retired commercial printer for Riverside Graphics in Batesville and a protestant. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Freddie Niemeyer. Survivors include his wife, Bettie Niemeyer of Cave City; two sons, Gilbert Niemeyer of Witchita, Kan., and Randall Niemeyer of Cave City; one daughter, Terri Glaze of Judsonia; eleven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services and burial were held Sunday, June 8, at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery near Prescott with Ted Stivers officiating. Burial was under the direction of Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
