Martha Stephens

Martha Jeannette Stephens, 70, of Hope died Monday, June 2, 1997, at Columbia Medical Park Hospital in Hope.

Born October 25, 1926, in Antoine, she was a housewife and a member of Antoine Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Stephens.

Survivors include three daughters, Jane Campbell of Emmet, Bobbie McCain of Magnolia and Marcene Linzy of Hope; four brothers, Clint Price of Hot Springs, Tom Price of Jonesboro, Charles Price and Cedric Price of Antoine; four sister, Betty Brown of Leesville, La., Inez Cornish of Antoine, Charlene Jackson of Arkadelphia and Barbara Jackson of Dalark; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

Graveside services were held Wednesday, June 4, at Friendship Cemetery in McCaskill with Rev. I.J. McKamie officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Brazzel-Oakcrest Chapel Funeral Home of Hope.
